The idea for this site came about in 2004, shortly after Alpine Meadows pulled the plug on its own online forum. Since that time, I have been busy with other projects. This year, some time became available.

I have been coming to Alpine Meadows since 1975. Now I am getting there 70 days a year. I have noticed that Alpine has a lot of strong little community groups on the mountain within the teams, employees, long time locals and frequent road warriors. It just seems like providing a place that fosters communication about our favorite mountain can really lead to some good stuff. That's why I'm here.
